A Day With God

When we wake up each day we don't know where God will lead us, but we often try to go where we think we're supposed to meet up with Him. Just make sure that it was the place that He chose and not you.
The reason I say this is because we too often miss out on a blessing from God because we're too busy trying to find Him, when all along He's right there next to us.
Sometimes it's perfect to just be still and let God be God. As I read this morning in one of my devotional readings "If we have a purpose of our own, it destroys the simplicity and the calm, relaxed pace which should be characteristic of the children of God." (Oswald Chambers from "My Utmost for His Highest")
In our hearts we so long to serve the Lord. Our mission seems to be to discover our mission. But sometimes our mission is just to be who God is already helping us to become.
Continue to follow Him in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with Him. Sit at the fireside and listen to Jesus tell you of God's wonderful love for you.

A New Creation - A New Beginning

The day that we begin a new life with Christ is the day that we begin a new life for ourselves. The old things will begin to disappear and new things will begin to happen in our lives.

This blog is dedicated to Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, and it is for His glory that it exists.
